1. Every line must contain real wordplay
A pun relies on a double meaning or a sound-alike word. Before publishing, we read every line aloud. If there's no wordplay, it's cut.
2. Original writing
Our collections are written by our team. Some jokes are classics that have been told for generations (for example, "Why did the chicken cross the road?"); we include a small number of these because readers look for them, and we rewrite or remix them where we can. We never copy other websites' lists.
3. Family-friendly by default
No profanity, sexual content, hateful stereotypes, or jokes about tragedies. Content is suitable for classrooms.
4. Explanations where they help
Each collection includes a "why these work" section explaining the wordplay, so readers — including students and English learners — can understand and reuse it.
5. Honest numbers
The count in each title reflects the puns and jokes actually on the page.
6. Corrections and updates
If you spot a mistake or a joke that doesn't land, email contact@pryzentali.com. We review collections regularly and update the date when we make meaningful changes.
